This was painted in downtown Wake Forest. It was real warm outside yesterday. Great fun talking to the little kids that came by.

This is a big one. I spent some time on it. I did a small study from a photograph, then used a toned canvas. This is one of my favorites.

When I sit on my couch, this is what I see when I look down the hall. I liked all of the angles and the way it makes you wonder what's around that corner.

I was headed home from art class Thursday night when I noticed the moon. It was very low in the sky with thin clouds glowing all around it. I had to stop and try to capture it.

I took the picture of this scene up in the West Virginia hills. I liked the shadows in the snow. I like the way the painting turned out too.

I did this one in art class. My instructor said it reminds him of work by Wayne Thiebaud. You have to make a bold statement when you only have a hour to finish the painting. 11x14 oil on canvas panel.

It's been cold outside so I've been doing some still life work. This one is 9x12 oil on a canvas panel.

This is another one from my West Virginia weekend. It's 11x14 oil on a canvas panel. It was real warm for the end of January. The snow was melting fast.
This is by a little town called Edray.

I was up in the West Virginia mountains over the weekend. It was surprisingly warm. This painting is a 9x12 oil on a canvas panel. I used painting knives for this one. The location is behind the condos at Snowshoe.
