11x14 oil on canvas panel "Early Morning Tabacco"

The shadow pattern changed about ten minutes into this painting. I'm glad I locked it in first thing.

11x14 oil on canvas panel "Morning Pond"

I made a bunch of canvas panels a few days ago. I'm enjoying painting on them.
That double oil primed linen is great to paint on.

11x14 oil on canvas panel "Jack Jones Road"

I got out earlier today. It's going to be 100 degrees today so I was glad to be finished early. This one seems to work well. I guess it is that early morning light. Good stuff.

11x14 oil on canvas panel "Sunny Afternoon"

What I remember about this day is being bitten by something on my arm that felt like a needle sticking me. I think they are called "noseems". They are very small bugs, but they sure pack a wallop. Where did I put that "Off"???

9x12 oil on canvas panel "Summer Clouds"
The little house was covered with vines and trees. I think it would like to be more like the painting.

11x14 oil on stretched canvas "New Crop"

Tabacco plants grow very fast here. The fields aren't as big as they once were, but there are still plenty of them.
